Ordering and Associated Tests
- Communicate the need for CRYO to the SVMC Laboratory Blood Bank.
- Lab will order.
- A standard adult dose is one pooled unit (equal to 5 single units).
- Patient's blood group and type (ABORH) must be determined, if not on file.
Day(s) Performed
Monday - Sunday
- One dose routinely stocked and available for issue within 60 minutes. Must be thawed first.
- Expires 6 hours after thawing.
