- Communicate the need for FFP to the SVMC Laboratory Blood Bank.
- Patient's blood group and type (ABORH) must be determined, if not on file.
Day(s) Performed
Monday - Sunday
- Routinely stocked and available for issue within 40 minutes.
- Must be thawed first.
- FFP should be transfused within 24 hours of thawing.
