Communicate the need for FFP to the SVMC Laboratory Blood Bank.
Patient's blood group and type (ABORH) must be determined, if not on file.
Availabitlity and Turn-around Guidelines
Routinely stocked and available for issue within 40 minutes. Must be thawed first. FFP should be transfused within 24 hours of thawing.
