Follow instructions in bag.

  In the case where no plate media is available, just the
  swab in the butt tube will suffice.

Special Pertusis Media Kit

Take NP swab specimen, streak on 1/4 of plate media, then place
swab in the butt tube and leave it there.
Send media to VSL by BUS asap - refrigerated.
