Refer to Venipuncture Protocol
Physician orders for Tobramycin are sent to the Pharmacy who will then determine which dosing program to follow.
Pharmacy enters orders into system for program and/or levels needed and phones the Laboratory to set up drawing times.
Nursing notifies laboratory of all dose start and stop times.
