FEMALE:  0.5 - 1.0

This eGFR value is based on the MDRD calculation and does not consider pateitn weight or height.

This eGFR calculation is only valid in steady state patients between 18 and 70 years of age, and assumes that the patient is not African American in race. 

Any result <60 mL/min/1.73M*2 should warrant investigation.
