Upon arrival daily- if reflexed to culture, culture will be set up.

A urine sediment exam is automatically performed on all UA specimens that are not clear, or have positive leukocyte, protein, blood or nitrite tests.

	CRITERIA FOR AUTOMATIC CULTURE	A urine culture will be automatically performed if the urinalysis is positive for nitrate's or leukocyte esterase's or if the urine sediment shows the presence of bacteria, yeast or WBC's
